Fund Development

Fundraising is more than just planning events or requesting grant funds. It is a carefully constructed process designed to engage various stakeholders in supporting your mission. Multiple factors must be considered to successfully raise funds including your capacity, board engagement, the systems you have in place to manage and communicate with donors, and a plan to track your efforts.

Creating Sustainable Solutions

Create a Plan

Together we will create a Development Handbook to map out your fund development plan. By identifying the gaps you have in funding, we will create a strategy for building new revenue streams that may include grant funding, major gifts, annual appeals, or social ventures.

Develop Your Systems

Once you have a plan in place, we will put together the templates and systems including a case statement of need for grant applications, grant prospecting and administration, needs assessments, impact workbooks, program budgeting, donor cultivation and stewardship plans, and major gifts. We can review and update your event sponsorship packages, annual appeals, and board give/get policies.

Build Capacity

Once your plan and systems in place, we can work together to determine what actions need to be taken to build your organizational capacity for capital or staffing growth. We can work alongside your current development team to maintain your system or train them to follow the plans that have been made.

Case Study

The Autism Society of Greater Akron was the very first nonprofit client to contact Full-Circle Fundraising in the summer of 2020. The challenge? Leadership believed that they were missing out on grant opportunities and wanted to have a system put in place to identify, write, and manage grant funding. Within the first six months of our agreement, grant revenue increased by 200%, and by the end of their second year with Full-Circle Fundraising, they had built enough capacity to hire a full-time development staff person.
