Clear, Transparent, and Aligned with Nonprofit Realities
Pricing Overview
At Full Circle Fundraising, pricing is designed to be ethical, transparent, and flexible, reflecting the scope and complexity of the work, not just time spent. Because every nonprofit’s capacity, systems, and goals are different, most services are scoped individually. Below are answers to common questions about pricing, structure, and how engagements work
FAQs
How is your work priced?
Services are offered in three primary ways:
-
Hourly, primarily for grant writing and short-term support
-
Project-based packages (for system building and strategic work)
-
Custom-scoped engagements (for facilitation, capacity building, capital campaign support)
This approach allows organizations to invest appropriately while ensuring clarity and accountability.
What is your hourly rate?
Grant writing and funding support is typically billed hourly. Current hourly rates begin at $150 per hour (effective 3.15.26).
Hourly work is most appropriate for:
-
Grant writing and revisions
-
Grant prospect research
-
Logic model development
-
Case statements of need
-
Short-term or supplemental support
Do you offer package pricing?
Yes, Sustainable Development Systems engagements are typically structured as project-based packages rather than hourly work. Most organizations invest between $4,500 and $24,000, depending on:
-
Organizational size and complexity
-
Existing systems and documentation
-
Level of integration across staff, board, and departments
-
Scope of implementation and training
Why don't you publish a full fee schedule?
Publishing a fixed fee schedule can be misleading and often does not reflect the real scope of work required. Nonprofits vary widely in:
-
Capacity and staffing
-
Readiness for systems work
-
Program complexity
-
Funding goals
Instead, we focus on right-sized solutions that match your organization's needs and resources. We tailor each package to your financial resources, often using a multi-phased approach.
Do you require a long-term contract?
No. Engagements are structured around clear scopes of work. Some projects are short-term; others unfold over several months. There is no requirement for an ongoing retainer unless it makes sense for both parties. The project's completion depends entirely on the pace at which the organization completes the work.
Do you work with small nonprofits?
Yes. Many of our clients are small to mid-sized organizations. Support is scaled to capacity, and recommendations are grounded in what is realistic and sustainable.
Do you guarantee grant funding?
No. Ethical fundraising practices do not allow guarantees. What is provided:
-
Thoughtful prospect selection
-
Strong, funder-aligned proposals
-
Clear documentation and systems
-
Honest assessment of readiness and fit
Do you manage grant reporting?
No. Grant reporting is not provided as an ongoing service. However, support includes:
-
Building grant tracking systems
-
Creating report templates
-
Making recommendations for internal reporting processes
-
Helping organizations prepare for reporting responsibilities
This approach strengthens internal capacity rather than creating long-term dependency. It also ensures accuracy, as the programming staff should be able to facilitate most of the reporting metrics.
Do you offer communications or marketing services?
Communications support is provided as part of fund development work, not as a standalone marketing service. This may include:
-
Messaging for annual appeals
-
Giving Tuesday campaigns
-
Capital campaign communications
-
Alignment of donor messaging across audiences, including websites
The focus is always on fundraising communications, not general branding or marketing.
Do you facilitate organizational strategic planning?
Strategic planning and facilitation for organizations are offered selectively, most often when directly connected to fundraising sustainability, leadership transitions, or system-building. A fund development plan is often stronger when it aligns with an organizational strategic plan.
